Hundreds of Sikhs protested in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York City yesterday, Sept. 24, during Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s address to the general assembly, demanding he sack Kamal Nath, union minister for urban development, for his alleged role in the November 1984 pogroms, according to Sikhs For Justice, a human rights organization in the city.
