Sikhs Slighted by President Obama

Feeling sidelined by President Obama, who chose as cultural outreach in India a celebration of Divali with Hindu students in Mumbai and a visit to a Muslim tomb in Delhi, Sikhs are looking to the president to make amends for ditching his visit to Darbar Sahib in Amritsar.

It's official, President Obama will only be going to Mumbai and New Delhi next week, said Ben Rhodes, deputy national security advisor for strategic communication, at a White House news conference this afternoon on the India trip.
